Inilah Sosok Afriyani Susanti Penabrak Maut Xenia
Kecelakaan maut di Jalan Ridwan Rais, Tugu Tani, Jakarta Pusat, tak cuma menyisakan duka buat keluarga korban. Keluarga Afriani Susanti--pengemudi mobil Daihatsu Xenia yang menabrak 12 pejalan kaki--pun dirundung kalut.
Yurneli, ibu Afriani, dikabarkan langsung syok begitu mengetahui anaknya menabrak orang hingga tewas. Perempuan paruh baya yang tinggal di Jalan Ganggang Terusan, Rt 11 Rw 07, Nomor 148, Sungai Bambu, Jakarta Utara, itu tambah stres saat tahu anaknya ditetapkan jadi tersangka.
Bawuk, ketua RT setempat, mengatakan, sampai saat ini Yurneli belum bisa ditemui wartawan. Perempuan itu acap pingsan manakala mengingat musibah yang menimpa putrinya.
Yongki, warga lainnya, menggambarkan Afriani sebagai orang yang sangat tertutup. Jarang bersosialisasi dengan tetangga. "Dia pergi pagi pulang malam. Jarang bergaul," terang Yongki. Lebih dari itu Yongki tak tahu.
Polisi sudah menetapkan perempuan 29 tahun itu sebagai tersangka. Hasil pemeriksaan urine, Afriani dan tiga temannya positif menggunakan narkoba. "Dinyatakan positif mengandung metampethamine. Artinya bisa ekstasi bisa sabu," kata Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Metro Jaya Komisaris Besar Polisi Rikwanto.
Tapi, kata Rikwanto, soal kasus narkoba Afriani belum final. Afriani sendiri kini ditahan di Mapolda Metro Jaya. Dia terancam dijerat pasal berlapis mulai kecelakaan lalu lintas, penggunaan zat psikotropika, serta menyetir tanpa SIM dan STNK.(ICH)
Saksi Kecelakaan Xenia 9 Tewas Tugu Tani
Pelaku tabrakan maut di Jalan Ridwan Rais, Gambir, Jakarta Pusat, Ahad (22/1) siang, dilaporkan syok. Sejumlah saksi mata melihat mobil Daihatsu Xenia yang dikemudikan Afriyani Susanti (28) melaju kencang dari arah Gambir, dan sempat oleng. Akibat peristiwa itu, 9 orang tewas, sementara 3 lainnya kritis.
Saksi mata mengatakan, saat itu terlihat mobil melaju dengan kecepatan tinggi. Tiba-tiba mobil itu oleng, dan menabrak sebagian besar pejalan kaki. Korban adalah anak-anak yang baru saja bermain futsal di kawasan Monas. Sementara mobil Afriyani rusak parah.
Polisi masih melakukan penyelidikan segala kemungkinan yang terjadi, termasuk dugaan sopir Xenia mabuk saat mengendarai. Kini, Afriyani, warga Jalan Ganggeng Terusan, Sungai Bambu, Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara, masih menjalani pemeriksaan di Sub Direktorat Penindakan Hukum Kepolisian Daerah Metro Jaya di Pancoran.(DSY)
